Below is a press release from Warhola and Mogush along with some of their artwork and video interviews which give an insight into the creative journeys of the artistic duo.

Marty Warhola, nephew of Andy Warhol, with fellow artist William Mogush burn up their art work, including images of Marty's uncle Andy while the pope looks on, and then run over the remains with a bulldozer.

This controversial and dramatic music video entitled "Crash and Burn", together with their other collaborative work, puts them on the frontiers of avant-garde art. Called "anti-art by many, this video expresses their views of contemporary art: their protests to its merchan- dising solely as an "investment commodity" through hyper- inflated prices; their focus on the idea over the "art object" which they photographically, document then destroy through this "trial by fire"; and the spiritual and material relationship. All things, including art, pass away but spiritual values, represented here by the pope, remain eternal and therefore are not destroyed

Their art technique of "simultaneous creation and destruction", painting while their very creation goes up in flames around them, mirrors the cycles of the universe: creation, destruction, and rebirth again. Martin Warhola and William Mogush are multi-media and performance artists. They have been working together for two years and have just recently gone public.

Legacy and Destruction by Musician Philip Harris is a documentary about Pittsburgh artists Bill Mogush and Marty Warhola. The two artists are known for their own philosophy of simultaneous creation and destruction. Phil's unpretentious video captures Bill and Marty explaining their philosophy, touring their studio and displaying their art while destroying it. Marty also offers some interesting thoughts concerning his past relationship with his late uncle Andy Warhol, whose influence can be seen in the two artists' ground-breaking work.
